Description

The Blade 98 (16×19) v7.0 Roland Garros Edition is a weapon inspired by the apex of the clay season and crafted with beautiful elegance. Its sleek design is backed up by cutting-edge innovation for next-level performance. FeelFlex technology, which is a development of Clash’s breakthrough FreeFlex technology, uses carbon mapping carefully distributed throughout the racket frame to provide a more connected-to-the-ball feeling. A Top Grip Taper for a more comfortable top-hand grip and less spec fluctuation from frame to frame are also included. The racket’s color scheme of clay, navy, and oyster is inspired by the stadium and new stands on the famed Parisian grounds.

Features:

FeelFlex – FeelFlex is an extension of Clash’s groundbreaking FreeFlex technology that provides a more connected-to-the-ball sensation while better matching the current, vertical swing path. Throughout the swing, proprietary carbon mapping carefully distributed throughout the frame gives further stability and flexibility.

Braided Graphite + Basalt – A mix of elastic and reactive materials enhances a racket’s flex to maximize ball contact with the strings for improved feel and control.

Parallel Drilling – Grommet structure ensures a more constant, forgiving string bed response while also significantly expanding the sweet spot.

Top Grip Taper – On the two-handed backhand, the tapered grip provides superior feel for top-handed grip placement.
